In 2016, Bodegas Riojanas inaugurated in Wheel the facilities of Viore, on a plot of two hectares of area in the vicinity of the Valladolid community. Its 2 thousand 500 built square meters have modern equipment for the elaboration of grapes, mainly of the Verdejo variety, with the aim of producing around 700 thousand bottles of white wines. The facilities have also been adapted to become a wine tourism reference in the area.
"Viore is a more dynamic and current concept for consumers looking for experiences."
"After the meaning of the expression of French origin 'Viore, which manifests' the taste, the joy of living', there is a style of fresh wine, fun and easy to drink, prepared for a generation of fans who come close to the culture of wine without prejudice and in a playful and informal way ", Santiago Frías, CEO of Bodegas Riojanas.
"From Viore the unmistakable character of the origin stands out, of those Castilian lands from which aromas and flavors full of authenticity sprout. Poor soils, austere climate, old vineyards planted with noble grape varieties, such as Tempranillo de Ribera del Duero Red de Bull and the Verdejo de Wheel, from which arise wines with great aromatic intensity and fruitiness, elegant and complex wines, "he says.
