Manifest of trade, tradition and love for the land and its products, Black Anima It is an expression of the great pride and character of the viticulture of Majorca. The result is sincere and special wines, far from the tendencies of creation of impersonal wines. It is this premise, together with the objective of producing wines of the highest possible quality, which marks the day to day in this winery founded in 1994, and which is the fruit of the symbiosis of climate, soil and native varieties of the Island of Majorca.
Located in the southeast of the island, the winery produces the wines in the old "possessió" of Son Burguera, near the town of Felanitx and dating from the thirteenth century. Natural viticulture is a priority. Respect for the particularities of the land and the cultivation of native varieties, such as Callet, Mantonegro, Fogoneu y Prensal Blanc, have shaped their own philosophy both in the way of understanding viticulture and in the product itself.
The project based on the initiative of Miquel Ángel Cerdà y Pere Obrador, helped in the beginning by the winemaker Francesc Grimalt. Currently they have the advice of Xavier Ausàs, former winemaker of Vega Sicilia. Respect for the particularities of the soil and the cultivation of native varieties have formed a philosophy of their own, both in the way of understanding viticulture and in wine itself.
