TAfter eight years of the classic Delirio located in Monterrey and Álvaro Obregón, the renowned chef Monica Patiño decides to open the doors of a new delirium in front of the Pushkin Garden Park, in Álvaro Obregón on the corner of Cuauhtémoc, Colonia Roma.
"This Delirium will be a perfect meeting point that will change depending on the time of day, thanks to its 'All Day Long' service."
The early diners can go to look for coffee and sweet bread in their window 'To take' from the 8: 00 am, while those who look for the emblematic breakfasts of Delirio, you can enjoy them early each morning accompanied by some juice or our characteristic bread candy.
The letter will change every six months, depending on the season, following the influence of Western Europe and the Middle East.
[ht_blockquote type = "no_bg" author = "Mónica Patiño"] I grew up in Tabasco Street, so I knew very well the Pushkin Park, it was always very nice and recently it was remodeled. One day, I went to 'La Cantina Auténtica' located in front of the park, I met the owners who were already tired and thinking about leaving the premises; after talking about it, they were happy to be able to give me everything and furniture, keeping the essence of the place [/ ht_blockquote]
Each zone demands different activities and the Doctores colony has been characterized by its legendary canteens. That is why Delirio Pushkin, as we have nicknamed him, seeks to maintain that essence and bets more on the afternoons, which will be allocated to the after office.
With a wide range of wines, mezcal and drinks produced in Mexico, diners can spend an afternoon of drinks, while enjoying a game of dominoes or goblets.
Starting in July, on Thursdays we will offer "19 snack afternoons": 00 to 21: 00 hrs where the snack will be borne by the house when ordering any of our cocktails or wines.
During the weekends, some specialties that Mónica Patiño rescued from 'La Cantina Autentica' will be prepared, such as chips with octopus and roasted chicken.
In addition, new dishes join the menu as a bababa ganoush with Arabic and zaatar bread chips, roasted beets with jocoque and dill, chicken baked with Harissa and tzatziki, carnitas grilled cheese, falafel cake and lamb mousaka, between others.
